The Creeks Preserve overlooks the Creeks salt marsh, Nantucket Harbor, and on a clear day, Brant Point Lighthouse. Acquired in 2019 from Lucile Hays, this 8-acre property is a stunning park that showcases Nantucket’s unique and notable coastal ecology. From the parking area, a 0.25-mile, ADA-accessible pathway guides visitors through cedar and cherry trees to a bluff, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Creeks salt marsh system.
The Creeks Preserve is located just out of town. From the rotary, drive east on Milestone Road for 400 feet and take the first left into the Creeks parking area.
Land Bank trails are marked by the post shown here. Most Land Bank trails are created as loops and if you follow the arrows—the trail should return you to where you began.
